What kind of church is New St. Hurricane?
New St. Hurricane is a Bible-centered, Christ-focused church committed to worship, spiritual growth, and serving our community. We value strong preaching, authentic worship, and a welcoming church family.
Planning the Visit
What time are your worship services?
Our main worship service is on Sundays at 11:00 AM. Sunday School is at 10am and Special services and events are listed on our Events page.
Where are you located?
We are located at 3319 S. Ohio Pine Bluff, AR 71601
Where should I park when I arrive?
Parking is available on and around the church property. Greeters are available to help guide you if it is your first visit.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. Some people dress casually, others dress more traditionally. You will be welcomed either way.
What to Expect in Worship
What is a typical service like?
Our services include prayer, worship through music, and a Bible-based message that connects Scripture to everyday life. Services are welcoming, engaging, and meaningful.
How long is the service?
Most services last about 75 to 90 minutes.
Will I be asked to speak or stand as a visitor?
No. We will not single you out. You are free to worship and observe at your comfort level.
Children and Youth
Do you have something for children?
Yes. We offer ministries and activities for children and youth. Details vary by age and season, and our team is happy to help you find the right fit.
Is childcare available during service?
Childcare availability is most Sundays but may vary. Please check with a greeter once you arrive
After the Visit
How can I get connected after my first visit?
You can fill out a connection card, speak with a ministry leader, or contact the church office. We offer orientation opportunities to help you learn more about the church.
How do I become a member?
Membership includes orientation and next steps that help you understand our beliefs, ministries, and mission. A staff member can guide you through the process.
Spiritual Support
Can I request prayer?
Yes. Prayer requests can be submitted online or shared with a ministry leader. We believe prayer is essential and taken seriously.
What if I am going through a difficult season?
You are not alone. Our church provides spiritual support, encouragement, and connections to helpful resources.
Giving and Service
Do I have to give money when I visit?
No. You will have an opportunity to worship through giving, but giving is a personal decision.
How does the church serve the community?
Through ministries connected to the Hurricane HYPE Center, Outreach Center, and other initiatives, we serve youth, families, and the broader Pine Bluff community.
Can I watch services online?
Yes. Services are available online through our digital platforms for those who cannot attend in person.
