Derick L. Easter, MPA, MMin.
I believe in Acts 20:28, which says: "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." I have made it a point to operate indicative of true Kingdom business. It is my desire to provide needs to the "total man" and promote a high level of excellence as the standard.
I have a unique mix of pastoral leadership and community partnerships which have included the following:
I have served on the Arkansas Read Council, the North Little Rock Fit 2 Live Leadership Team, the Faith-Based and Community Programs Director for the Arkansas Transitional Employment Board, and as the Statewide Outreach Project Director of Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families,
I am currently serving on the faculty of the National Baptist Convention USA's Congress of Christian Education in the Ministers Division, the Media and Community Outreach Coordinator for the Union District Baptist Association, and as a Project Consultant for the Arkansas Out of School Network a subgroup of Arkansas State University Childhood Services Program. Not only am I passionate about the church in general, I am also passionate about the community in which I serve and I will continue to be an advocate for childhood obesity awareness, literacy development, transitional employment, and government/community partnerships. With a Master of Ministry, a Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, I am passionate about Chrisitan Education and live by the pinciples of holiness, humility, and a continuous pursuit for excellence, honor, and knowledge.
Pastor Easter is married to Keely Easter and they have two children Jasmine and William Seth.
